cream cheese French toast

I got the filling recipe from Mira at.

We love Ihops stuffed french toast so much we decided to try to come up with one ourselves.

Spread out the slices of the cinnamon bread and spread a little cream cheese filling on each and put two together to make a “sandwich”.

Ingredients of cream cheese French toast

  1. You need 10 cup of white bread.
  2. You need 8 oz of cream cheese.
  3. You need 8 of eggs.
  4. Prepare 1 1/2 cup of milk.
  5. You need 2/3 cup of half nd half.
  6. Prepare 1/2 cup of maple syrup.
  7. Prepare 1 tsp of vanilla.
  8. Prepare 3 tbsp of powdered sugar.

cream cheese French toast step by step

  1. place the bread cubes in greased 13×9 inch baking dish.

  2. beat cream cheese at medium speed until smooth.

  3. add eggs one at a time mixing after each addition.

  4. add milk, half and half, syrup and vanilla mix well.

  5. pour the cream cheese/ milk mixture over bread, cover and refrigerate for atleast 3 hours..( i let soak over night).

  6. the next morning… remove bread mixture let stand about 30 minutes before baking… PREHEAT oven to 375.

  7. bake for 40-50 minutes… or until set should be golden brown.

  8. sprinkle powder sugar… serve with syrup.

A delicious treat for breakfast, brunch, or even dessert!

Recipe even includes homemade blueberry sauce!

French Toast Bakes are super easy to assemble the night before and are always a hit with my family.
